RBS Sempra Energy Europe is a one of the largest natural gas traders in the UK and continental markets with daily volumes of around 100 million therms. Our Gas Desk is a team of skilled traders with innovative approaches to maximizing each customer's potential.
We have built a strong physical trading presence all the major trading hubs of the UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France and a number of smaller eastern European markets. We are also expanding in Italy and Spain and increasingly trade LNG. This geographically diverse trading portfolio engenders important economies of scale and creates opportunities for price arbitrage between the UK gas-to-gas and European oil markets.
