No.1 Metals Broker
We are very proud that our clients endorsed our high levels of service and integrity by voting us No.1 Metals Broker in the Risk magazine 'Energy & Commodity Rankings 2008'.
The Rankings place RBS Sempra Metals as the top broker for 13 out of 16 possible categories in base metals spanning the whole array of products (including cash, options, forwards/averages/swaps and exotics) across copper, aluminium, nickel, zinc and lead. We also gained two second place finishes and one third place finish in the remaining categories. Additionally, in the precious metals categories, we recorded one first place finish as well as 2 second places and 3 third places out of a possible 8 categories.
Risk magazine, in conjunction with Energy Risk and Commodity Risk, publishes the Energy & Commodities Rankings annually. Voters are asked to nominate their top-three energy/commodity dealers in order of preference based on various criteria including pricing, liquidity and electronic trading capabilities. This year there were 1500 valid votes. Risk, Energy Risk and Commodity Risk are published by Incisive Media.
