RBS Sempra Metals' SOLe online trading system is a fast and reliable way to view prices and trade. It gives you access to live LME Select prices for base metals, steel and plastics contracts, as well as 24-hour trading and order entry.
Ease of use
Our system is easy to use with an intuitive screen interface. As an internet browser-based trading platform, SOLe gives users the flexibility to trade or view prices while travelling, at work or at home. It can also be delivered via an API.
Fast order entry
Entering orders is straightforward and quick, with extensive functionality:
- Straightforward order entry for 'carries' and 'outrights'
- Multiple order types – 'outrights', 'carries', 'icebergs' – with day, immediate or cancel (IOC) and good till cancelled (GTC) validity
- Interactive working orders section enables simultaneous viewing and editing of working orders, with a full audit trail of order book changes and trades executed
Comprehensive market information
SOLe provides the following extensive market information:
- Full market depth as well as high, low, open, close, previous close and last pricing information
- Real-time trade ticker – to keep you up-to-date with trades and price changes
- Intra-day and historical charting
- LME Select data tables – average prices and LME closing prices, enables comparison of LME Select and floor trading prices
Ensuring security
SOLe provides users with a high level of security, utilising 128-bit SSL encryption to ensure all communications are secure. Additionally, IP address restrictions, 32-bit security key and email validation are available to restrict log-ins to specific machines.
Mobile price service
SOLe Mobile allows you to view LME Select prices, full market depth, charts and forward curves on your internet-enabled mobile phone or hand-held device
